The training watch COROS VERTIX 2 GPS Adventure Watch is the first GPS watch with a next-generation dual-frequency chipset for all satellites. This allows the watch to communicate with all five major satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Beidou) simultaneously. It even offers dual-frequency satellite communication, something that was previously only available in aviation products. It uses a next-generation chipset and processor, which Coros has built from scratch, providing a better and faster experience. Thanks to these improvements, it is over 20% faster than its popular predecessor. The 3.5 cm display has a 16% higher resolution and allows the VERTIX 2 to display more information at a glance and keep you updated with key values at all times. The watch can also display up to eight data fields on a single page, giving you more of the information you need while training.
It has a global offline map and includes: landscape, topographic, and hybrid modes. The watch comes with a complete global landscape map ready to use, and you can also download your own topographic maps based on region from COROS.com for free. You can zoom in and out on the map with the digital dial or move around the map with the highly responsive touchscreen, meaning the VERTIX 2 offers the best experience for wrist-based navigation.
Thanks to the ECG features (Electrocardiogram) in VERTIX 2, you can use your GPS watch to measure your heart rate variability (HRV) directly on your wrist. HRV is an ideal measure for gauging how your body responds to stress and its ability to recover. The COROS system converts each individual HRV into an easily comparable statistic from athlete to athlete. With 32 GB of storage space, it can store more data, more workouts, more routes and for the first time in a COROS GPS watch – music. Now you can download and listen to your audio files directly from your GPS watch. It also has additional Wi-Fi capabilities, providing even more possibilities for pairing various types of accessories and more.
If you have an Insta360™ action camera (Insta360 Go 2, One X2, and One R), you can now control the camera from your GPS watch. This means you can place your camera at a distance and still take perfect shots by touching the watch.
